The flavors of New Year…

Neem Flowers, Raw mango, Jaggery, chilli, salt, tamarind juice- The flavors of Ugadhi (New year for Telugus)

A mixture of the three of them signifies life which has sweet, bitter and sour parts in store for us. By accepting the Ugadhi Pachadi (the mixture) it is believed that we make ourselves ready for the events ahead this year.

Wishing everyone a Happy Ugadi (for the telugus) , Gudi Padwa (For Marathi), Thapna (for marwaris), Cheti Chand (for sindhis), Sajibu Cheiraoba (for Manipuris),  Baisakhi (for punjabis).

P.S: That is quite a list!!! 🙂 Have a nice day every one 🙂
